Growth Analysis will use framework projects to systematically elucidate issues relevant to growth policy and its implementation. Swedish growth is created in a context where numerous factors and processes are significant. Our focus is on how the government can promote the driving forces for Sweden’s innovation capacity and for structural transformation, both directly and indirectly through state infrastructure and promotion of Sweden’s internationalisation and the supply of capital for trade and industry. We also have a specific commission to analyse the greening of the economy. We have consequently identified six areas of study that we feel are most central for growth policy. It is within these areas that Growth Analysis will develop knowledge, i.e.:

• Sweden’s innovation capacity
• Sweden’s structural transformation
• Sweden’s infrastructure for innovation and business dynamics
• Sweden's internationalisation
• Supply of financial capital to firms
• Greening of the economy
